Global Schools Director, Sam Loni, participated in UNESCO's ESD-Net 2030 Launch Webinar on October 4th, 2022. Loni will now serve as a focal point for ESD-Net 2030 on behalf of the Global Schools Program.
The new ESD-Net 2030 is a UNESCO community of practice to collaborate for knowledge sharing, mutual learning, advocacy, and monitoring and evaluation around Education for Sustainable Development (ESD). According to UNESCO's follow-up on the event and activities, "hundreds came together online to participate in the launch webinar that introduced its objectives and planned activities, featured interventions from several Member States and highlighted in an interactive session the relationship between culture and sustainability."
