With regard to showing respect to the commemoration of World Teacher’s Day, the Global School’s Program (GSP) led a social media campaign from October 5th to October 12th, 2022, following the theme “The Transformation of Education Begins with Teachers.”
This year’s celebration calls for urgent global action so teachers can fully deploy their talent and transform teaching from within.
The seven-day campaign included the promotion and celebration of the work of Global Schools Advocates worldwide in their schools, promoting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The campaign honored teachers worldwide to raise public awareness of the important role of teachers as key figures in achieving Education for Sustainable Development (ESD).
Throughout the week, people from all over the world joined Global Schools with the hashtag #TeachersInFocus to share their work as teachers, recognize their mentors, and applaud the work of educators. As a result of the successful campaign, Global Schools reached the following impressions on social media:

With a total of 23.8k impressions combined, the campaign attracted new followers passionate about the mission of Global Schools. The week-long campaign finished with:
